4th Annual Blackville Bluegrass Festival is this Weekend
For plenty of great live entertainment and delicious food come to Blackville, NB this weekend! The 4th Annual Blackville Bluegrass Festival kicks off this Friday, August 10th at the Dungarvon Whooper Lounge and runs through Sunday, August 12th.
This year’s featured entertainers are: Bluegrass Tradition and the Mark Boutilier Band from Nova Scotia; Prince Edward Island’s Janet McGarry & Wildwood; and The Doughwrights, Eddy Poirier & Family, and Timberland Express from New Brunswick. Blackville’s own Craig Curtis will perform on Sunday only.
The gates opened this morning for early bird camping at a rate of $5 per day.
Weekend Passes that include camping are available for $40. The festival starts Friday evening at 6pm and ends at midnight each evening. The gates close every evening at 10pm and all guests who aren’t camping onsite will be asked to leave by midnight. Security will be on the grounds 24 hours a day throughout the event.
The fees are:
Friday Evening (starting at 6pm): $15
Saturday Full Day (starting at 12pm): $25
Saturday Evening (starting at 6pm): $20
Saturday & Sunday: $30
Bring your own lawn chairs. Canteen services will be available.
