Miramichi Through Our Artists Eyes

Hello Miramichi artists!

Once again there will be a section called “Miramichi Through Our Artists Eyes”, in the annual Mighty Miramichi River Guide.

The section will include photos of artwork that depict the Miramichi Region – scenery, streetscapes, historic locations, events, attractions, etc.  All artists and mediums are welcome!

To participate:  • send a photo of your artwork • the artists name  • name and description of the artwork  • location or subject matter depicted (if not evident from the name of the work)  • website link and/or social media handles to promote yourself  • optional: you can include additional information such as if you have a studio people can visit, if prints of the piece are available for sale, if commissions are accepted, etc., but please keep it short.

Photos should be high resolution (the bigger the file size the better). If you are sending them from your phone or ipad, check your settings and make sure the “original size” is being sent. Sometimes the programs automatically resize photos when emailing them.

You can submit more than one piece, and I will make every effort to include at least one from each artist, but this will depend on the amount of submissions received.  You can also resubmit any photos that were submitted in previous years, but not used .

The deadline for this is April 15th.  Send to  with River Guide Art Submission in the subject line.

Art Events: Also if you have events planned for this year, please let me know for the River Guide so we can help spread the word. (paint-outs, studio tours, classes, exhibits, etc.)
